Job Description

To support the marketing efforts of the business with brand development and creation of innovative design materials. You will also assist in day-to-day tasks like the upkeep of social media channels, writing relevant content, website updates and planning of events and campaigns.

This role will likely suit an individual who has studied marketing academically, who has a few years on the job experience and who is now looking for a new, exciting challenge with career prospects.

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Support the sales team with brand development.
  • Corporate branding: Ensure the company’s brand guide is updated and company brand guidelines are followed on all platforms and by staff.
  • Company branding (clothing, promotional items, technical datasheets etc) management.
  • Content creation and marketing materials: Writing copy for publications and promotions, Creation of designs, Literature (Brochures, flyers, banners).
  • Promote internal communications and support recruitment campaigns.
  • Digital communications: social media and email marketing.
  • Manage photography and videography.
  • Campaign planning to promote products and services.
  • Reporting on projects: social media and campaigns.
  • Support with the organisation of events, exhibitions, and seminars.

Essential Skills

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products.
  • Creative writing skills.
  • A willingness and ability to learn and apply new skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe applications.
  • Excellent knowledge of social medial platforms.
  • Ability to create high quality promotional content (written, video. Images etc).

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in the use of Mailchimp and WordPress.
  • Degree or similar in Marketing.

You will be based from our offices in Colliers Green, Kent, working in a team of enthusiastic people passionate about positively impacting our planet! There will be a requirement to travel to suppliers and sites, usually within the Southeast of England but could be required within the UK.
