Solar PV System for Innovative Business Space in Kent
Sustainable Business Space
We recently installed this 24 panel Solar PV system for QED Sustainable Urban Development at their new innovative business space development at Watermill Wharf in Strood, Kent.
The Solar PV System will power this pioneering contemporary business space that has been constructed out of containers, for entrepreneurs, start-ups and micro-firms.
The £1million development will provide sustainable, robust and affordable premises solution for small and medium sized businesses in Medway.
Business is Booming in Medway
With over 17,460 businesses located locally and with an expanding business landscape, the development is welcomed by the business community.
Around £1 million was been invested in Medway Council’s Innovation Studios in Strood, to include 15 office spaces and 18 storage facilities.
£600,000 of the build cost was secured via the Coastal Communities Fund. The project was managed by CargoTek which specialises in shipping container buildings, and QED Sustainable Urban Developments created the design.
We’re proud to be part of this local project that promises to support local business expansion in an area that is set to grow at a rate of double the national average.
