We’ve been shortlisted for the Energy Efficiency South East Awards

On Thursday 5 March Simon, Mick, James and Miles are heading to the Energy Efficiency South East Awards. The Little Green Energy Company has been shortlisted for both Solar Installer of the Year and Small Scale Installation of the Year for our work at the wonderful Beech Lodge School.

This was a particularly rewarding job for TLGEC as the school provides a fantastic learning environment for children with special educational and emotional needs. They are keen to become as energy efficient and eco-friendly as possible and pass this ethos on to the students at the school. Our installation was in-roof solar PV designed to blend in with the school’s new building.

We are delighted with the solar panels that have been installed by the Little Green Energy Company on the roof of our new school wing. The company worked efficiently and effectively to install the panels on time and within budget. As a new build school it was important that we included a green energy initiative in line with our Sustainability Policy as we are determined to control our energy consumption to reduce impact on the natural environment. The panels have had a big impact, not only for our pupils who have enjoyed learning about how they work but also for our staff and wider community who are proud to be part of an organisation that takes green energy seriously. The panels are working well and we look forward to reaping the benefits!
