Case Study: Solar Panels with Battery Storage in Reigate, Surrey, Mr T

Project Overview

In July 2025, we installed a new solar system in Reigate, Surrey. The customer, James, wanted to lower bills, use clean energy, and reduce carbon output.

The final system included fifteen SunPower Performance panels and two Sigenergy batteries. Together, they create a 6.75 kW system with an expected yearly output of 5,886 kWh. 

The Challenge

Many families in Surrey are facing higher electricity bills. Energy from the grid is becoming less stable and more costly.

James wanted to take control of his home energy. He needed a system that could reduce bills, store power for later use, and help him cut emissions.

Our Solution

We carried out a full site survey at James’s home in Reigate. This allowed us to design a system that matched his roof and energy use.

• The system used SunPower Performance panels, which are reliable, efficient, and backed by a 25 year warranty.
• We also installed two Sigenergy SigenStor batteries. These let James save extra power during the day for use at night.

Our in-house team handled the whole project. This included design, scaffolding, installation, and approval from the electricity network. All work was done to MCS standards, ensuring quality and compliance.

Results and Benefits

James’s new system will create more than 5,800 kWh of electricity every year. This covers a large part of his household demand.

Because the system includes batteries, James can now store solar power for the evening. This reduces his need to buy from the grid. It also makes his savings larger and more consistent across the year.
