How long have you worked at TLGEC and what does your role entail?

I have worked at TLGEC since November 2019, my role encompasses EV, Battery, Maintenance, Commercial sales and Business Development.

What do you like most about your job and working for TLGEC?

I think that we have a great team and I enjoy coming in to work every day knowing that the environment is supportive and forward-thinking. I enjoy seeing the order book fill up for the month and being at the forefront to see the growth the company is going through. It certainly is an exciting time for us here at TLGEC!

What does working with solar power and renewable energy mean to you?

I love that we work within a renewable energy industry and are helping businesses and domestic customers achieve their goals of carbon reduction and moving away from grid reliance. Seeing the technology move forward in such a dynamic sector is satisfying to witness. We see the future unfolding in the services we offer, knowing that motoring one day will all be electric. It’s very exciting seeing the change from the early adopters of EV, that are now moving more towards mainstream – it’s fantastic.

What’s your biggest accomplishment?

It would have to be contributing largely towards the company’s biggest sales month, including bringing in a 197 kWp commercial project in March this year.

What would you say to someone that is thinking of switching to renewable energy to power their home or business?

I would say that if you have some money to invest and you want to play your part in reducing the climate crisis whilst saving money on your bills, then this is a great time to get involved. The technology is well established, with product warranties from the best manufacturers offering peace of mind, ensuring your system is backed up throughout its lifetime.
