Bobby Ingram – Project Manager

Bobby has been working in the energy sector for 15 years and has always had a keen interest in renewable energy. When the opportunity came up to join the industry it was one that he couldn’t turn down.

What does your role entail?  

My role consists of planning and organising PV & Battery installs which includes liaising with customers direct ensuring that they are updated with developments, speaking to various suppliers in regards to stock and engaging with our engineers out on the road.

What do you like most about your job and working for TLGEC?  

Every day is different. I’m very lucky to work alongside a very knowledgeable team and every day is an opportunity to learn something new.

What does working with solar power and renewable energy mean to you?  

It’s very rewarding knowing that I am part of a team that is making a real difference in the world.

What’s your biggest accomplishment?  

My little boy, he is my world.

What would you say to someone that is thinking of switching to renewable energy to power their home or business?  

With rising energy costs and the threat of climate change, now is the time for everyone to play our part. Replacing fossil fuels with wind and solar to power our homes and businesses will dramatically cut our greenhouse gas emissions and will cut air pollution at the same time.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?  

I love spending time with my family. I am a big football fan and when I’m not playing Vets football for my local team, I’m going to watch Gillingham FC. I enjoy running and try to do at least 15k a week.
