David Attenborough’s Climate Change Warning

Climate change has been hitting the headlines again – aside from Greta Thunberg’s high-profile visit to the UK and Extinction Rebellion’s London protests, the BBC has aired a dramatic documentary from David Attenborough.

“We now stand at a unique point in our planet’s history, one where we must all share responsibility, both for our present well-being and for the future of life on earth,” Attenborough warned.

“Every one of us has the power to make changes and make them now. Our wonderful natural world and the lives of our children, our grandchildren and all those who follow them depend upon us doing so.”

While illustrating the potentially catastrophic outcomes if carbon levels continue to rise at their present rate, the programme also informs viewers of the actions we can all take to stop the worst from becoming reality.
