Health and Safety
The Little Green Energy Company is very proud of our Health & Safety record.
Having worked extensively on new build sites we have seen all levels of Health & Safety being implemented.
Our management in key roles are all trained in Health & Safety supervision, all having at least one of the following:
- IOSH Directing Safely
- IOSH Managing Safely
- SSSTS – Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme
All jobs are covered by site specific RAMS (Risk Assessment & Method Statement) and CDM (Construction, Design & Management) Regulations if required.
All of our installers hold relevant CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) cards and are also trained in the relevant technologies we install.
We regularly hold tool box talks and offer regular training including:
- Asbestos Awareness
- Manual Handling
- Emergency First Aid
- Ladder Safety
- Working at Height
- Safety Harness Systems (Man-Safe)
- PASMA – Scaffold Towers
- IPAF – Boom & Sissor Lift
- IOSH – Working Safely
In addition to this we also have external Health & Safety advisers who audit the company annually and give us access to their consultants.
The Little Green Energy Company are also members of CHAS – The Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme (see Accreditations page) and are founder members of the SIPP Scheme, which is widely accepted as the number 1 Health & Safety scheme throughout the UK.
We have all the relevant insurances in place, including Employers Liability, Public & Product Liability and Professional Indemnity (PI). Copies available on request.
